Welcome to Save Lives, an initiative by the Revathi Raghuram Kamath Charitable Trust. Our mission, inspired by the legacy of Sri Raghuram Kamath, who selflessly helped the needy without seeking attention, is to provide critical medical assistance to those afflicted by maxillofacial diseases. Under the leadership of Mrs. Revathi Kamath, the Trust is dedicated to saving lives by covering the costs of operations and treatments for impoverished individuals who lack the financial resources to afford necessary medical care.
Maxillofacial diseases, affecting the jaw and face, often require complex and costly surgeries. Unfortunately, many people suffering from these conditions are unable to access the treatment they need due to financial constraints. At Save Lives, we believe that financial barriers should never prevent anyone from receiving life-saving medical care. Our initiative is committed to bridging this gap by funding surgeries and treatments for the underprivileged, ensuring they have a chance at a healthy and fulfilling life.
Our mission is supported by the exceptional contributions of renowned medical professionals who generously offer their services free of charge. Dr. Girish Rao, the head of Mukha Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Center, has performed over 10,000 surgeries, including 2,000 at no cost to the patients. His dedication to this cause is truly inspiring. Similarly, Dr. Nagesh, Principal of R.V. Dental College, Bangalore, has spearheaded financial and logistical support programs through the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust. His efforts have promoted oral health and hygiene among rural and underprivileged children, treating around 2,88,278 patients across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh at zero cost.
Mrs. Revathi Kamath’s unwavering commitment to this noble cause has brought together like-minded philanthropists to support the underprivileged.
